Remote Solar Station – RSS01

The RSS01 is a versatile, environmentally protected (UV), solar powered housing suitable for enclosing a variety of our wireless products.

The enclosure is designed for use in urban and rural locations that lack access to mains power systems.

The RSS01 includes the solar controller, solar panel with mounting brackets, and battery.

The solar panel and battery capacity have been selected and optimised to provide (typically) 10 days of standby operation over the radio networks on which QTech wireless products operate.

Approximately 8 hours of sunlight is required to fully recharge a depleted battery.
